Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Irving, TX. You will patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, control access, and provide excellent customer service.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.63 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
