Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Newnan, GA to monitor assigned areas, provide excellent customer service, and deter security incidents. You will perform unarmed patrols, manage access points, and report incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. Applicants must meet minimum requirements, and opportunities for growth and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees and follow site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site procedures and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, structured manner and escalate as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with company and site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, office spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
