Allied Universal® is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for a Grove City, OH location. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, deter incidents, and provide a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, clear communication, and professional responses to routine security concerns. As a part-time role, you will work a set daytime schedule with shifts available on weekdays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout distribution and loading areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of vehicles, trailers, packages, and personnel per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate contacts or emergency responders.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and unusual activity per Allied Universal reporting requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout distribution and loading areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of vehicles, trailers, packages, and personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
