Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) for Stone Mountain, GA. You will patrol campus areas, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, student, and staff activity; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM
