Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed Patrol Quality Auditor) in Atlanta, GA. You will serve and safeguard tenants and staff, maintain a visible security presence, and contribute to a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel during security procedures and emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, notifying relevant personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and entrances.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance needs.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate updates during shift changes.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift changes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have supervisory experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
