• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation and rail operations location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, trespassing concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of rail facilities, office areas, access points, parking areas, yards, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access-control concerns, and potential hazards to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
