As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Assistance in HERNDON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate clearly, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and support a respectful environment.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
