Job summary

Allied Universal in Mission, KS is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to patrol and protect client sites, deter incidents, and provide excellent service.

You will conduct routine interior/exterior patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document daily activities, with a flexible weekend schedule and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required; licensing rules may apply.

Responsibilities

You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations; report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access activity and help maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
