Allied Universal in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Security Officer Patrol (Part-Time) to protect clients at a technology and logistics site. You will be a visible presence, respond to incidents, and support reliable operations.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor access, conduct patrols, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors while following site policies. This role offers flexible daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years for unarmed roles, 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology and logistics location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access activity and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to offices, operational areas, and restricted spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with site leadership and Allied Universal management.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
