Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Access Control) in Dallas, TX. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, manage access control activities, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour. Schedule: DayTime Thu 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Fri 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Join a team that prioritizes safety, integrity, and service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
