Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in San Antonio, TX. This role focuses on unarmed patrols, customer service, and maintaining a safe environment across logistics facilities.

You will patrol assigned areas, monitor access points, document observations, and respond to incidents following established procedures. A Guard Card is preferred and you must meet minimum age and education requirements.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site procedures.
• Perform regular unarmed patrols to deter security-related incidents and maintain safety.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures.
• Observe and report incidents with accurate documentation and timely communication.
• Respond to incidents calmly, follow protocols, and request support when needed.

• Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, and facility conditions with accurate documentation and timely communication to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following established protocols.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, and facility conditions, completing accurate documentation and promptly communicating relevant information to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and requesting additional support when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
