Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Kyle, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer and vehicle staging locations, facility entrances, employee parking areas, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence, identifying unusual conditions, and promptly communicating concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
