Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed - Access Control Gate in San Antonio, TX to serve and safeguard clients across various industries. Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with store management, customers, and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Access Control Gatein San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail grocery location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. You will respond to concerns, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.
