Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Roving Patrol in San Antonio, TX. You will provide security, patrol facilities, and deliver strong customer service at a technology, media, and telecom location.

This is a part-time role with a fixed schedule and opportunities to take on additional shifts via our Claim a Shift platform. The position requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and provide directions or assistance as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive client experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
