Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Dispatch Security Officer in Florence, NJ. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service.

This role offers a flexible schedule, training opportunities, and access to our shift‑claim platform. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid preferred; Guard Card/license preferred.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and promptly reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information during shift handoffs.
