Qualifications

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document activities. Pay Rate: $20.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization when required, and directing visitors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
