• Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications.

As a Security Officer Part Time Badge Access Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support badge and access control processes, use computer or tablet systems as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution location, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
