As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.15 / Hour

• Age Requirement:
  Candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101). This requirement is in place to ensure compliance with legal regulations

• Security Experience:
  Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience (C112). This experience should demonstrate the candidate's ability to handle security-related responsibilities effectively and contribute to a safe working environment.

• Customer Service Experience:
  Candidates must have prior customer service experience (B219). This experience is essential for roles that require interaction with clients and customers, ensuring that our team members can provide exceptional service and support.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government-controlled retail and administrative location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, documenting and reporting relevant information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, retail areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders when needed, following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
