Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed - Overnight in Augusta, GA. You will provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors, following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.

You will patrol residential areas, monitor entry points, respond to incidents calmly, and prepare clear reports. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to advance through our Shift Claim platform; minimum requirements include 6 months of security experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old for driving positions; 18 for unarmed roles.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on position.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of residential areas, parking, entrances and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity per community policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear documentation of patrols and incidents.

As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with community policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear documentation of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess supervisory experience.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
