Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare rehabilitation setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, providing directions and assistance while helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.
