Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail areas, walkways, and parking facilities to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports while assisting guests and the community.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:30 AM - 08:00 PM
• Thur 11:30 AM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an upscale retail and shopping district environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail areas, pedestrian walkways, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, property damage, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while providing courteous directions, assistance, and a welcoming presence for guests and the retail community.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
