Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in New York, NY to safeguard clients across Tech/Media/Telecom locations. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining professional interactions with a diverse workforce and guests.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology and media location; follow site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking facilities, access points, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access to designated areas and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, clear communication and escalate to leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and logs detailing incidents, patrol findings, and observations.

Pay Rate: $23.25 -$24.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology and media location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking facilities, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain professional interactions with a diverse workforce and guest population.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and activity logs, documenting incidents, patrol findings, visitor-related concerns, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
