Pay rate is $21.05 per hour and shifts run day and night on weekends and weekdays as needed. Responsibilities include customer service at a commercial property, responding to incidents, patrolling, monitoring access points, and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation and drug screen are required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.

• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations per site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, entry points and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior to site contacts.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Alarm Panel Driver in Stafford, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious behavior, property issues, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a commercial property environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
