Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations per site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports per Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:30 AM - 04:00 PMSun07:30 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
