• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns, and document incidents per site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with campus personnel and public service partners while giving directions and information to the campus community.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established campus protocols.


• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access points, report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns, and document incidents in accordance with site procedures.


• Communicate professionally with campus personnel and public service partners while providing directions, assistance, and information to the campus community.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
