Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) for a Greenville, SC location. You will provide customer service, monitor access, perform patrols, and respond to incidents at a manufacturing and industrial site.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and a pre-employment drug screen. Schedule includes overnight shifts, and a driver’s license may be needed for certain positions.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor and contractor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications with clear and accurate information.

Wed11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:
