Allied Universal is actively seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for the Greenville, SC area. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence at manufacturing and industrial sites.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Criminal histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and communicating observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, including building interiors, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access activity and visitor/vendor entry in accordance with site-specific requirements, helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Report hazards, unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations observed during patrols to designated personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
