Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Management Driver in Jacksonville, FL. This role offers reliable, fixed hours at a single site with the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings and advance toward a full‑time security career.

Pay is $17.50 per hour. Requirements include a TSA TWIC, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and successful background checks. You will manage access control, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic as required, document deliveries and departures, and report access discrepancies or suspicious activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Management Driver in Jacksonville, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
