As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time TWIC Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.06 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and maritime personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of port facilities, gates, terminals, parking areas, waterfront perimeters, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary across the site.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry and exit records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and notifying emergency services or site contacts as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities, helping to support a professional and orderly port environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA‑issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
