UAB is seeking a security officer to perform prescribed duties on fixed posts, patrol campus buildings, parking lots and other university facilities to keep areas secure and free of hazards. You will patrol all assigned areas with attention to problem spots and assist visitors with directions and department locations across the hospital and campus.
The position offers an hourly pay range of $16.00 - $26.00, and requires a High School diploma or GED plus Alabama Driver's License or state ID
To perform prescribed duties on fixed posts, and to patrol campus buildings, parking lots and other University facilities to assure all areas are secure and free of hazards and suspicious/unauthorized persons. To patrol all assigned areas, giving special attention to problem areas. To assist visitors with directions and street locations, as well as various departments in the hospital and on campus.
Hourly Pay Range: $16.00 - $26.00
High School diploma or GED required. Alabama Drivers License OR state ID required within 30 days of hire.
