Armorous is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time swing shift in Petaluma, CA. You will safeguard properties, deter criminal activity, and ensure the safety of businesses, construction sites, and communities. You’ll conduct hourly tours, perform access control, and monitor entrances and exits to maintain a secure environment.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $21.00 with a $100 signing bonus, weekly direct deposit, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within Armorous.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card required.
• 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate.
• 32-hour continuing education certificates.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain alert and proactive in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Check IDs of all incoming patrons.
• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

• Security Officer for Dispensary Market

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc. Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers are responsible for conducting hourly tours, ensuring the premises is secure. Access control when checking in and out guests to property, and checking all entrances and exits.

Shifts:

Wednesday - - - 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Thursday - - - 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Friday - - - 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Saturday - - - 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM 6 Hours Shifts for 24 Hours Per Week
+ Opportunity for additional shifts

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:
