Job summary

Armorous is seeking a Security Officer for construction sites in San Francisco. You will safeguard properties, deter crime, and ensure safety for businesses and communities. The role requires vigilance, decisive actions, and clear communication to handle incidents.

Officers perform hourly tours, manage access control, and monitor entrances/exits. Shifts include late evenings and overnight hours. Compensation is $21.54 per hour with benefits and weekly direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card required.
• 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate and 32-hour CE certificates.
• Must be a San Francisco resident.
• Strong customer service and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Remain alert and proactive in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity and safety hazards.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter crime and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and assist in emergencies.
• Document daily activity and incidents in reports.
• Communicate security updates to supervisors and team.

Position/Titles:

• Security Officer for Construction Site

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc. Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers are responsible for conducting hourly tours, ensuring the premises is secure. Access control when checking in and out guests to property, and checking all entrances and exits.

Shifts:

Saturday - - - 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Sunday - - - 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Monday - - - 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Tuesday - - - 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Wednesday - - - 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Compensation:

$21.54 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

Security Guard Qualifications:

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
• Current with BSIS Compliance
  • i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate
  • 32-hour continuing education certificates
• Must be a San Francisco Resident
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
