Allied Universal®, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part Time Security Officer for Aberdeen, MD. The role involves serving clients in Retail/Malls, building a schedule via our Claim a Shift platform, and maintaining a visible, safe presence.

The position offers a part-time schedule with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour, focusing on customer service, patrols, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help identify and report unusual conditions, policy violations, or potential hazards.
• Document incidents, complete required reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
