Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Savannah, GA. You will serve tenants, visitors, and vendors, performing security procedures and emergency responses at a commercial real estate site.

The role offers flexible day-time shifts (Fri 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM, Sat 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM) and opportunities for training, growth, and employee perks. A valid driver’s license is required for driving assignments and you must meet minimum experience criteria.

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, following visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
