As a Screener in a commercial real estate location, you will help create a welcoming, controlled environment by screening visitors, managing access points, and supporting badge-related processes. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and help deter security-related incidents through an attentive presence. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Screen visitors, contractors, deliveries, and personal property in accordance with site requirements; verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry.
• Monitor entry points and screening equipment, report suspicious activity or prohibited items, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entry areas, common spaces, and the building perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
