Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Flowery Branch, GA. You will provide access control, monitor entry points, and deliver professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while helping deter incidents.

This role offers weekend hours (Sat 6:00 PM – Sun 6:00 AM) and a pay rate of $15.74 per hour, with opportunities to grow through our Claim a Shift platform and training programs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes and/or contractor access credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to the appropriate personnel and assist with escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Operate access control systems, cameras, and communications equipment; document daily activities, incidents, and unusual observations in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
