Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Baltimore, MD. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the flexibility to pick up extra shifts across multiple sites, providing reliable hours and a path to fuller-time opportunities.

Pay rate is $16.50 per hour. The schedule includes Night shifts, with weekend coverage and the potential to advance through paid training and internal development programs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including medical emergencies and requests for assistance within a healthcare residential setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:0 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
