Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees while conducting site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and vehicles according to access-control and screening protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and report unauthorized activity or prohibited items per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns to appropriate contacts or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, the facility, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and vehicles as assigned, following established access-control and screening protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and report unauthorized activity or prohibited items according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated screening areas, the facility, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
