Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen visitors, contractors, deliveries, and/or personal items in accordance with location policies; verify identification, credentials, appointments, and authorized access.
• Operate screening equipment and complete required visitor, delivery, and incident documentation while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Queue Management in Shepherdsville, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen visitors, contractors, deliveries, and/or personal items in accordance with location policies; verify identification, credentials, appointments, and authorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
