Allied Universal in Shepherdsville, KY is seeking a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Risk Reduction to provide dependable, flexible hours at a designated site. The role supports security procedures, incident response, and daily patrols while offering opportunities to grow toward full-time roles.

Pay rate is 17.25 per hour with a fixed shift and an option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, entrances, parking, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Risk Reduction in Shepherdsville, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
