Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Screening Checkpoint) in Rialto, CA. You will help safeguard clients across various industries, screening people and items at the checkpoint and maintaining a professional presence.

The role offers flexible scheduling with the Claim a Shift platform and opportunities to grow within a dynamic, collaborative team environment. Pay is $18.80 per hour with part-time hours and shift rotations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while following site-specific procedures and assist in emergency response when needed.
• Screen individuals, packages, deliveries, and/or vehicles per site requirements and procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document access-related activity.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, loading zones, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, deliveries, and/or vehicles in accordance with site requirements and established screening procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed, and document access-related activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
