Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. You will perform unarmed patrols, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a visible security presence.

This role offers flexible day schedules, a paid drive role, and opportunities to learn our shift-claim platform, with focus on safety and professional communication.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, retail location policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and policy violations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and/or appropriate personnel.
