Allied Universal in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to provide front desk support at a logistics and distribution site. You will greet visitors, monitor access, verify credentials, and deliver superior customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted consistent with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories where allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
• Monitor the front desk area, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
• Receive, screen, and route incoming calls, communications, and inquiries to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency-response procedures.
• Assist with documenting daily activities, unusual occurrences, and security-related concerns, and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership.

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
