Qualifications

• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, welcoming front-desk presence for visitors, members, vendors and employees.
• Monitor access and verify credentials; maintain visitor logs and communicate entry requirements.
• Answer calls, provide directions and route inquiries to site personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms and emergencies per procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
• Observe activity, document incidents and report security concerns to management.

You will manage access, observe entry activity, assist with X-ray screening as needed, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a retail warehouse location, assisting visitors, members, vendors, and employees in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor logs, and communicate entry requirements to help support security-related operations.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general directions or information, and promptly route inquiries to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe front-desk activity, document incidents or unusual occurrences, and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
