• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at an educational location.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and other security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Assist with communications, including answering phones, providing directions, receiving deliveries, and coordinating with campus personnel as assigned.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
