Qualifications

• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Inspect vehicles and delivery traffic at access points in accordance with site procedures, helping to control access to the facility and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
