Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Perimeter Patrol in Nashville, TN. You will protect clients across cultural institutions and more, with a flexible schedule you can tailor via our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Background history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, vendors, and guests following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of galleries, public spaces, entrances, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; provide directions and site information; report suspicious behavior or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and medical situations calmly and in line with site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, vendors, and guests by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of galleries, public spaces, entrances, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
