Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Ardmore, TN. You will patrol designated areas, provide courteous customer service to visitors and staff, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and follow reporting procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity and incident reports for site contacts and leadership.

Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, government facility policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of public areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location requirements, directing guests to appropriate resources and reporting access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
