Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Incident Response in Memphis, TN. You will provide security, patrol facilities, verify access, and respond to incidents for a government utility location.

The role emphasizes professional customer service and quick, calm problem-solving. The position offers part-time hours with an armed post, paid at $22.08 per hour, and a schedule of Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Formación

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience OR a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required as a condition of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a government utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorization, and report access-control concerns or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with site representatives and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

• Sat 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a government utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorization, and report access-control concerns or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and operational information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience OR a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
