Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time, unarmed patrol role. You will patrol residential sites, maintain a visible presence, assist residents and guests, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and observe entries and exits per site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities and observations per reporting procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe persons entering and leaving the property in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
